▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - Method of monitoring the production of a material in a liquid dispersion in real time involves supplying the liquid dispersion to a fluid gap defined between mutually opposing light-transmissive layer (A) and layer (B) having a diffusely reflective surface facing the layer (A), illuminating the diffusely reflective surface with light from a light source and detecting light reflected from the diffusely reflective surface at an associated photodetector, such that light path comprises the light passing through the transmissive layer towards the diffusely reflective surface through the fluid gap, reflecting off the diffusely reflective surface and passing back through the fluid gap towards and onwards through the transmissive layer, and determining the concentration of the material in the liquid dispersion from the light source to the photodetector. USE - Method of monitoring production of material in liquid dispersion in real time in chemical processing industries, drug discovery and pharmaceutical industries. ADVANTAGE - The production of material in liquid dispersion can be monitored efficiently and economically in real time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) apparatus (100) for monitoring the production of material in liquid dispersion in real time, which comprises fluid gap defined between layers (A) and (B), light source and photodetector; and (2) use of the apparatus in determining the concentration of a material in liquid dispersion in real time. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a cross-sectional side view of apparatus. Apparatus (100) Outer casing (101) Rotor (102) Chambers (103,104) Fluid outlet (108)
