NOVELTY - Lubricating material comprises graphene nano-sheet layer and nano-manganese oxide particles dispersed on surface of graphene nano-sheet layer. A thickness of the graphene nano-sheet layer is 5-10 nm. An average particle diameter of the nano-manganese oxide particles is 50 to 100 nm. USE - The lubricating material is useful for automobile industry, aviation and aerospace field. ADVANTAGE - The method has simple operation route, and high and stable yield. The lubricating material has good lubricating and anti-friction effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the lubricating material, comprising: (i) mixing potassium permanganate and graphite powder into sulfuric acid solution, heating to generate oxidation reaction to obtain graphene oxide-containing mixed solution; (ii) adding de-ionized water into graphene oxide-containing mixed solution, adding hydrogen peroxide solution, and stirring mixed solution; (iii) adding alkali solution into stirred mixed solution, filtering, washing, and drying to obtain graphene oxide sheet layer with manganese hydroxide particles loaded on surface; (iv) dissolving graphene oxide sheet layer and solid alkali in alcohol solution to obtain suspension; (v) evaporating suspension to obtain alkali-activated graphene oxide sheet layer; and (vi) performing high-temperature reduction treatment to alkali-activated graphene oxide sheet layer under protection of inert gas or vacuum condition, washing, filtering, and drying.
