NOVELTY - Graphene/water-based epoxy zinc-rich coating comprises component A and component B, where the component A includes 0.3-1.5 pts. wt. graphene, 5-25 pts. wt. deionized water, 20-75 pts. wt. water-based epoxy resin, and 0.3-1 pts. wt. substrate wetting agent. The modified graphene is made of polyethyleneimine in alkali polymer-grafted graphene oxide obtained by grafting and reducing graphene oxide in a neutral environment. The B component includes 40-70 pts. wt. zinc powder, 15-30 pts. wt. ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, and 10-25 pts. wt. water-based epoxy resin curing agent. USE - Graphene/water-based epoxy zinc-rich coating. ADVANTAGE - The graphene/water-based epoxy zinc-rich coating has high corrosion resistance and strong adhesion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphene/water-based epoxy zinc-rich coating, which involves: (A) dispersing 1-5 pts. wt. graphene oxide in 300-1000 pts. wt. deionized water; (B) adding 3-12 pts. wt. polyethyleneimine at 60-80 degrees C for 2-6 hours to obtain polyethyleneimine graft reduction graphene oxide; (C) adding 0.3-1.5 pts. wt. the modified graphene, 5-25 pts. wt. deionized water, 20-75 pts. wt. water-based epoxy resin and 0.3-1 pts. wt. substrate to obtain component A; and (D) mixing 40-70 pts. wt. zinc powder, 15-30 pts. wt. ethylene glycol monobutyl ether and 10-25 pts. wt. water-based epoxy resin curing agent as component B under stirring to obtain the graphene/water-based epoxy zinc-rich coating with high corrosion resistance and strong adhesion.
