NOVELTY - An environmentally friendly nano-barrier coating comprises 30-40 pts. wt. nano-mixed slurry, 5-7 pts. wt. nano metal additive, 5-7 pts. wt. graphene, 10-12 pts. wt. nano-silica, 12-16 pts. wt. 16% polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution, 0.8-1.2 pt. wt. surfactant, 3-5 pts. wt. borax, 4-7 pts. wt. foaming agent and 2-4 pts. wt. antioxidants. The nano-mixed slurry is prepared by dispersing nano-magnesia, nano-titania and nano-silica in a weight ratio of 3:2:5 at 3000 rpm for 30 minutes in a disperser. USE - Environmentally friendly nano-barrier coating. ADVANTAGE - The nano-barrier coating has improved hardness, insulation, gloss, fixation, stability, and bonding with steel strips. The nano-barrier coating prevents the steel coil from producing adhesive tape during high temperature annealing. The foaming agent in the coating improves activity, interlayer insulation resistance and adhesion of the coating. The auxiliary component such as a surfactant improves the coating density. The nano-barrier coating has a product qualification rate of more than 95%.
