NOVELTY - Method for preparing a multifunctional cashmere blended yarn involves (a) choosing raw materials comprising 5-20 wt.% cashmere, 30-60 wt.% graphene composite fibers and 20-65 wt.% other textile fibers, in which the diameter of each raw material fiber is not greater than 50 mu m, (b) soaking the above raw materials in a hydrogen peroxide solution at 75 degrees C for 20 minutes, adding sodium silicate for ultrasonic treatment and soaking in 45 degrees C water for 5 minutes, (c) carrying out oxidation treatment, (d) carrying out reduction processing, (e) softening the raw materials with a softener, (f) separating the raw materials having a length of 3-6 cm, (g) further softening using a softener, (h) combing and injection molding the resulting mixture, (i) treating the fiber strips with deionized water, washing and dry to obtain the product. USE - The method is useful for preparing a multifunctional cashmere blended yarn. ADVANTAGE - The method adopts pollution free process, and is safe. The cashmere blended yarn has excellent anti-shrinkage properties and resistance to discoloration.
