NOVELTY - The probe has a photo-acoustic signal excitation unit (3) deposited with a photo-acoustic material (31). A 45 degrees inclined grating (5) is located on an optical fiber core (4). A coating layer is stripped at an end of an optical fiber (1). The 45 degrees inclined grating is prepared on the optical fiber core. A side wall of a side polishing optical fiber is deposited with the photo-acoustic material. An Fabry-Perot cavity type photo-acoustic signal detection unit (2) is provided with a medium mirror (21) and a polymer film (22). The 45-degreeinclined grating and the photo-acoustic signal detection unit have same axial position on the optical fiber, where light absorbing material is nano-gold particles, graphene, carbon black or nano-carbon powder. USE - Integrated optical fiber type photo-acoustic probe for lateral ultrasonic excitation and detection.
