NOVELTY - Preparation method of palladium core-platinum shell/carbon catalyst with core-shell structure involves i. ultrasonically dispersing the carbon carrier in a 2-6C dihydric alcohol and/or a 3-6C trihydric alcohol solution to obtain an alcohol dispersion of carbon; ii. dissolving the precursors of platinum and palladium in the 2-6C diol and/or 3-6C triol solution, respectively, and mixing the two solutions after they are completely dissolved, adding the mixed solution of the precursor dropwise to the alcohol solution of the carbon carrier, and after the dropwise addition is completed, stirring the mixture continuously at room temperature for 30 minutes-2 hours; iii. preparing an alkaline solution of 2-6C diol and/or 3-6C triol solution to obtain an alkaline solution of alcohol and it is gradually added dropwise to the solution, stop dripping when the pH of the reaction system reaches 7.5-9, heating reaction system to 40-60 degreesC and continued to stir for 1-2 hours. USE - Catalyst for use in a proton membrane fuel cell (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The preparation method has simple operation, rapid reaction and easy amplification synthesis. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for catalyst.
