NOVELTY - A nickel-hydrogen battery cathode hydrogen storage alloy/graphene composite material is prepared by using epoxy etherification hydrazine as reducing agent that reduces graphene oxide to graphene, making graphene modified hydrogen storage alloy on surface to form layer of graphene film where graphene oxide is reduced to graphene by using 100 pts. wt. oxidized graphene into de-ionized water, ultrasonic treating to obtain aqueous dispersion of graphene oxide, adding 60-80 pts. wt. hydrazine epoxy ether under 94-97 degrees C, refluxing for 9-11 hours, using anhydrous ethanol and de-ionized water to wash to neutral, freezing and drying to obtain graphene. USE - Preparation of nickel-hydrogen battery cathode hydrogen storage alloy/graphene composite material. ADVANTAGE - Hydrogen storage capacity is improved. Rate discharge performance of cathode material is high.
