▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A treatment system consists of a vessel housing containing a housing inlet and a housing outlet, an inlet flow path fluidly, a drain fluidly and a permeable graphene filter containing a polymer composite of layer(s) of a graphene material assembled in sp2 hybridized structures containing carbon-carbon bonds, and which is made permeable by chemical doping with heteroatoms, chemical destruction of lattice by UV-Ozone treatments, chemical disruption of the lattice by bonding or by removal of areas using plasma, or electron beam lithography. USE - Treatment system is used for filtering waste or agent from fluid stream containing water, wastewater, oil, grease, oil, biological molecules, chemicals, organic molecules, inorganic molecules, chemical dyes, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and heavy and radioactive waste (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The treatment system enables efficient filtration of waste or agent from fluid stream. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A treatment system consists of a vessel housing containing a housing inlet and a housing outlet, an inlet flow path fluidly connected to the housing inlet to transport a fluid stream from a source to the vessel housing, a drain fluidly connected to the housing outlet to discharge a treated fluid stream from the vessel, and a permeable graphene filter for biological treatment and/or physical treatment of the fluid stream positioned between the housing inlet and the housing outlet to remove agent(s) from the fluid stream to form the treated fluid stream. The permeable graphene filter comprises a polymer composite of layer(s) of a graphene material assembled in sp2 hybridized structures containing carbon-carbon bonds, and is made permeable by chemical doping with heteroatoms, chemical destruction of lattice by UV-Ozone treatments, chemical disruption of the lattice by bonding or by removal of areas using plasma, or electron beam lithography. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) stackable filter; and (2) method for filtering waste or agent from fluid stream.
