NOVELTY - Producing porous graphene, comprises (a) converting plate-shaped oxide graphene to three-dimensional structure, (b) reducing the three-dimensional structured graphene oxide by applying white light pulse to form reduced graphene, and (c) activating the reducing graphene to form pores. USE - The method is useful to produce graphene as porous graphene electrode for electrochemical devices (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides porous graphene having high effective specific surface area. The porous graphene electrode produces electrochemical device having high specific surface area and electrode density, and improved electrochemical performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for porous graphene electrode comprising the porous graphene and binder.
