NOVELTY - Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA)/thermoplastic polyamide elastomer (TPAE) composite material foam comprises EVA/TPAE composite material, nucleating agent, bridging agent and auxiliary agent with mass ratio of 100:0.5-5:0.2-8:0.1-5; where EVA/TPAE composite material comprises 30-95 wt.% ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, 5-70 wt.% thermoplastic polyamide elastomer and 0.2-5 wt.% compatibilizer. USE - EVA/TPAE composite material foam. ADVANTAGE - The EVA/TPAE composite material foam has high toughness, high elasticity, is not generated harmful gas in foaming process, is free from volatilize harmful substance, is clean foam, and has wide application prospect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing EVA/TPAE composite material foam, which involves: (A) mixing, and extruding ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, thermoplastic polyamide elastomer, and compatilizer by double-screw extruder, obtaining EVA/TPAE composite material; (B) mixing EVA/TPAE composite material, nucleating agent, bridging agent, auxiliary agent uniformly by open mill to obtain pre-foaming EVA/TPAE sheet; (C) placing pre-foaming EVA/TPAE sheet into high temperature resistant sealing mold, raising temperature to melting state, introducing physical foaming agent to make pressure in mold, which is increased to more than supercritical pressure of physical foaming agent, keeping pressure for 0.2 to 6 hours, then releasing pressure; and (D) cooling to obtain EVA/TPAE composite material foam.
