NOVELTY - Complex material comprises a magnetic nano-material complex and immunosensing material. The magnetic nano-material complex is formed by coupling aztreonam and magnetic nano-material. The immunosensing material comprises Klebsiella pneumoniaemonoclonal antibody, carboxy functionalized graphene and glassy carbon electrode. USE - The complex material is useful for preparing biochemical reagent and reagent kit for enrichment isolation and detection of Klebsiella pneumoniae (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method uses aztreonam to conjugate with the carboxylic acid on magnetic nano-material surface through amino group and then through the β-lactam bond of aztreonam can be conjugated with the penicillin binding protein (PBPs) on the surface of Klebsiella pneumoniae cell membrane, and hence achieves magnetic separation of the functionalized magnetic nano-material to Klebsiella pneumoniae. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for isolating and detecting Klebsiella pneumoniae in the sample-to-be detected by the complex material.
