NOVELTY - A magnetic molybdenum disulfide/iron(II,III) oxide/reduced graphene oxide ternary composite visible photocatalyst is prepared by taking 1.52 g thiourea and 0.7 g ammonium heptamolybdate tetrahydrate, adding water, ultrasonicating for 20 minutes, adding 0.12 g iron(II,III) oxide and 0.03 g graphene oxide, ultrasonicating for 20 minutes, carrying out hydrothermal reaction at 200 degrees C for 8 hours, cooling, centrifuging, washing with water 3 times, and drying for 12 hours at 60 degrees C. USE - Method for preparing magnetic molybdenum disulfide/iron(II,III) oxide/reduced graphene oxide ternary composite visible photocatalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method is environment-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for application of magnetic molybdenum disulfide/iron(II,III) oxide/reduced graphene oxide ternary composite visible photocatalyst comprising adding magnetic molybdenum disulfide/iron(II,III) oxide/reduced graphene oxide ternary composite visible photocatalyst into 5 mg/L p-nitrophenol organic wastewater, carrying out visible light irradiation, and carrying out external magnetic field separation.
