NOVELTY - Method for preparing resin dispersion, involves (i) adding chitosan to an aqueous solution of graphene oxide, adding glutaraldehyde solution, reacting, adding (3-mercaptopropyl)triethoxysilane, adjusting pH to 6.5-7, and reacting to obtain chitosan-modified graphene oxide, (ii) adding solvent and solvent petrol to the reaction kettle, and heating at 110-150 degrees C, (iii) uniformly mixing methyl methacrylate, n-butyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate, hydroxyethyl methacrylate, acrylic acid, chitosan-modified graphene oxide and initiator in a volume ratio of (20-26):(2-10):(10-15):(12-20):(1-5):(4-8):(1-4), and gradually dripping into the reaction kettle for 2-5 hours, (iv) reacting at 130-140 degrees C for 2-5 hours, and lowering the temperature in the reaction kettle to 90-100 degrees C, and (v) adding a neutralizer, uniformly stirring, adding water, and filtering to obtain the resin dispersion. USE - The method is useful for preparing resin dispersion, which is used for a high-hardness aqueous wood lacquer. ADVANTAGE - The method improves the hardness of the wood lacquer by adding chitosan-modified graphene oxide to the resin dispersion to improve the performance of the resin dispersion. The wood lacquer prepared by using the resin dispersion has hardness of 2H, has improved heat resistance and water resistance, and has important market application value.
