NOVELTY - Controlled-release fertilizer composition comprises composite graphene-carbon nanotube material having three-dimensional open-celled network, and fertilizer impregnated within three-dimensional open-celled network. USE - Controlled-release fertilizer composition. ADVANTAGE - The composition uses composite graphene-carbon nanotube material whose network can provide high fertilizer absorption and excellent thermal conductivity for efficient temperature-dependent release of fertilizer. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of controlled-release fertilizer composition comprising obtaining composite graphene-carbon nanotube material, combining composite graphene-carbon nanotube material with aqueous solution comprising fertilizer allowing aqueous solution to infiltrate three-dimensional open-celled network of graphene and carbon nanotubes, and drying composite graphene-carbon nanotube material.
