NOVELTY - Graphite powder is reacted with potassium permanganate/sulfuric acid to obtain a light yellow transparent solution. The solution is dried to obtain a sheet of graphite oxide. A polyfunctional compound and graphene oxide are dispersed in dry dimethylformamide solution and activator is added. The polyfunctional compound and oxygen radicals form a chemical bond by activation, to obtain polyfunctional grafted graphene oxide sheet. Graphite oxide and graphene oxide are hydrothermally reacted to obtain a three-dimensional network of graphene. USE - Chemical-bonding preparation of controllable net-shaped three-dimensional graphene for use in supercapacitors and seawater desalination. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphite powder is slowly added to potassium permanganate/sulfuric acid under ice bath conditions, and stir-reacted. Hydrogen peroxide is added to remove excess potassium permanganate and obtain a light yellow transparent solution. The solution is dried to obtain a sheet of graphite oxide. A polyfunctional compound and graphene oxide are uniformly dispersed in dry dimethylformamide solution and a small amount of activator is added for activation of graphene oxide. The polyfunctional compound and oxygen radicals form a chemical bond by activation, to obtain polyfunctional grafted graphene oxide sheet. Graphite oxide and graphene oxide are added to a solvent to obtain 1-50 mg/ml solution. The reaction mixture is placed in PTFE reactor and hydrothermally reacted for 10-16 hours, to obtain a three-dimensional network of graphene.
