NOVELTY - Preparation of degradable adhesive involves (s1) mixing hydrogen bond acceptor, aerogel and solvent, and reacting to obtain complex, and (s2) mixing the compound with the hydrogen bond donor, and removing the solvent after the reaction. USE - Preparation of degradable adhesive used for coating metal, fiber, glass and plastic material of surface of bonding articles (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, green and environmentally-friendly and economical. The degradable adhesive is non-toxic, has adhesive strength of 6-8 MPa, excellent heat insulation, adhesion property, biodegradability and thermal conductivity of less than 0.019 W/(m.K), can be easily removed using water or an organic solvent, and prevents peeling of the aerogel. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for degradable adhesive, which is completely degraded in 15-120 days in soil.
