NOVELTY - Preparing titanium dioxide-graphene oxide sponge composition comprises (a) pretreating the polyurethane sponge by cleaning, and then drying to obtain pretreated polyurethane sponge, (b) dispersing the graphene oxide in water to obtain aqueous graphene oxide solution having a graphene oxide concentration of 2-10 mg/ml, (c) dispersing titanium dioxide in water to obtain titanium dioxide aqueous solution having a titanium dioxide concentration of 0.2-2 mg/ml, (d) immersing the pretreated polyurethane sponge in an graphene oxide aqueous solution for one time, taking out, draining the water, and primarily drying at 50-100 degrees C for 0.2-10 hours to obtain graphene oxide polyurethane sponge, (e) immersing the graphene oxide polyurethane sponge in an titanium dioxide aqueous solution for secondary soaking, taking out, draining water, and performing secondary drying at 30-85 degrees C for 12-48 hours. USE - The sponge composition is useful in catalytic adsorption treatment of phenol-containing sewage (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The sponge composition: has high adsorption catalytic performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for titanium dioxide-graphene oxide sponge composition prepared by the above method.
