NOVELTY - Preparing liquid crystal elastomer flexible device comprises (1) introducing dynamic covalent bond, supramolecular interaction, and/or embedded reactive group into liquid crystal molecules to obtain self-healing liquid crystal elastomer, (2) partially overlapping at least two self-healing liquid crystal elastomer, performing ultrasonic welding on overlapped portion under pressure at room temperature, where the self-healing liquid crystal elastomer is heat, light, electric, magnetic or humidity stimulus-responsive liquid crystal system. USE - The method is useful for preparing liquid crystal elastomer flexible device, which is useful in field of wear-resistant device, micro-electro-mechanical system, and soft robot (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The liquid crystal elastomer flexible device has good mechanical property and response ability, improves solid-phase bonding efficiency, maintains orientation of liquid crystal molecule, and driving stability of elastomers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a liquid crystal elastomer flexible device.
