NOVELTY - Methods for preparing graphene-doped earthworm excrement composite material, involves (a) washing dried earthworm excrement, filtering and drying to obtain pure earthworm excrement, (b) adding the pure earthworm excrement to graphene solution, evenly stirring, and adding a reducing agent for reduction treatment to obtain a hydrogel, and (c) lyophilizing and carbonizing the hydrogel at a high temperature to obtain the product. USE - The methods is useful for preparing graphene-doped earthworm excrement composite material for as negative electrode of lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has excellent electrochemical performance, capacity of 380 mAh/g at a charge and discharge current of 100 mA/g, and cycle performance.
