NOVELTY - Preparation of active graphene comprises preparing graphene oxide by Hummers method, dispersing graphene oxide in thionyl chloride (SOCl2), adding dimethyl formamide (DMF), heating to react for hours, after ending the reaction, distilling out the excess SOCl2, drying in vacuum to obtain acyl chloride graphene oxide, dissolving in para-ester-containing DMF, reacting for hours, after finishing the reaction, pouring out the supernatant, centrifugally washing the lower layer precipitates with deionized water, and drying the product to obtain active graphene. USE - Preparation of active graphene used for textile padding or immersion processing (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides active graphene having antistatic property, good thermal conductivity, and washing fastness, and is covalently grafted to cotton fabric.
