NOVELTY - Potassium ion battery cathode for composite material, comprises tin(II) sulfide in the tin(II) sulfide/titanium dioxide/ reduced graphene oxide composite material is greater than or equal to 80%, and the mass fraction of titanium dioxide is less than or equal to 2%. The micro-morphology of the composite material comprises: uniformly distributing the titanium dioxide coated tin(II) sulfide nanoparticles on the reduced graphene oxide substrate, where the particle size of the tin(II) sulfide nanoparticles is 10-100 nm. USE - The material is useful as cathode material for a potassium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The material has protection function, reduces negative influence of coated material dynamics, realizes better electrochemical performance, optimizes electrolyte. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing the composite material for cathode of potassium ion battery, comprising (i) dispersing the graphene oxide in de-ionized water, adding tin source and sulfur source, uniformly mixing the obtained reaction liquid at 90-180 degrees C for hydro-thermal reaction, washing and drying to obtain titanium dioxide/reduced graphene oxide composite material, (ii) calcining the obtained composite material at high temperature in an hydrogen/argon atmosphere; and (2) electrolytic solution matching the composite material for cathode of a potassium ion.
