NOVELTY - Superhydrophobic polypropylene film comprises a polypropylene layer and a hydrophobic layer comprising polypropylene, reduced graphene, nano-silica and sorbitan stearate. USE - Superhydrophobic polypropylene film. ADVANTAGE - The film improves the hydrophobic properties of the film, and has simple process flow, no special equipment for the preparation process, and no special requirements for drying atmosphere, and is suitable for large-scale continuous production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the polypropylene film, involving (a) adding graphene oxide and hydrazine hydrate to water, heating at 100 degrees C, stirring, reacting for 24 hours, and freeze-drying the reacted mixture to obtain reduced graphene, (b) adding the reduced graphene, nano-silica, sorbitan stearate and ethanol to water, mixing to obtain a mixed solution (A), adding granular polypropylene to xylene, heating at 130 degrees C to completely dissolve the polypropylene particles, cooling to room temperature to obtain mixed solution (B), adding the mixed solution (A) to the mixed solution (B), and evenly stirring to obtain a casting dispersion, and (c) adopting a casting method to cast the casting dispersion onto the polypropylene film substrate, drying at 70-80 degrees C, and cooling to obtain the film.
