NOVELTY - High-strength lightweight composite thermal insulation material comprises composite sandwich material formed by hot pressing and curing of skin and polymethacrylimide (PMI) core material. The skin is made of aluminum alloy or carbon fiber material or carbon fiber board, glass fiber board, aluminum alloy board and carbon fiber reinforced aluminum alloy laminate structure formed by epoxy resin adhesive. The core material of PMI comprises 40-60 pts. wt. methacrylic acid, 40-60 pts. wt. methacrylonitrile, 5-20 pts. wt. third monomer, 2-20 pts. wt. graphene, 2-15 pts. wt. pre-treated nano-silica, 0.05-0.6 pt. wt. initiator, 2-16 pts. wt. crosslinking agent, 2-10 pts. wt. blowing agent, 0.1-3 pts. wt. density control agent and 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. nucleating agent. USE - The high-strength lightweight composite thermal insulation material is used for motorhomes (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has high strength, light weight and good thermal insulation effect and does not easily deform.
