▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A redox graphene-modified electrode comprises a redox graphene, a conductive carbon black, and an epoxy resin, formed into a film on the surface of a current collector. The mass ratio of redox graphene, conductive carbon black, and epoxy resin is 3-8:1:1. USE - Redox graphene-modified electrode is used for electrocatalytic reduction of aromatic nitro compound (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The redox graphene-modified electrode can be prepared quickly under mild reaction conditions, is environmentally-friendly, and has excellent electron transmission characteristics and electrocatalytic reduction activity with respect to aromatic nitro compound, providing a conversion and selectivity of 80% or more. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of the modified electrode using graphite, potassium permanganate, concentrated sulfuric acid, deionized water, 4-20 g/L ascorbic acid and L-cysteine, conductive carbon black, epoxy resin, and solvent, preferably ethanol or ethyl acetate; and (2) application of the redox graphene-modified electrode, which involves immersing the modified electrode in an ionic liquid dissolved with an aromatic nitro compound, and carrying out electrocatalytic reduction reaction. The reaction conversion rate and selectivity reach more than 80%.
