NOVELTY - Graphene ink comprises 4-8 pts. wt. graphene, 1-3 pts. wt. carbon black, 1-5 pts. wt. dispersant, 0.5-5 pts. wt. surfactants, 78-88 pts. wt. solvents, 1-2 pts. wt. potassium carbonate. USE - Graphene ink for improving electromagnetic shielding performance of communication cables (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene ink is beneficial to optimize the shielding performance of the cable and reduce the cost, improves shielding effect of the communication cable coated with the graphene ink and attenuation improvement rate reaches 50%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for preparing graphene ink, which involves adding dispersant and surfactant to the solvent in proportion, and dispersing at speed of 1500-2500 revolution/minute for 25-40 minutes to obtain dispersion A, adding graphene and carbon black in proportion to dispersion A, and dispersing for 1.5-3 hours at speed of 2800-4000 revolution/minute to obtain dispersion B, dispersing dispersion B ultrasonically at frequency of 35-65 kilohertz for 18-35 minutes to obtain dispersion C, adding potassium carbonate to dispersion C and grinding for 2-3.5 hours to obtain final product; and (2) a method for using graphene ink for improving the electromagnetic shielding performance of communication cables, which involves soaking the communication cable in the pretreatment liquid for 25-35s, and then drying at 105-115 degrees C, pretreatment liquid contains one of polyaluminum chloride, polyacrylamide or methyl green, soaking cable processed in graphene ink for 2-5 minutes, and then drying at 200-220 degrees C for 0.5-1.5 minutes, drying, soaking again in graphene ink for 1-3 minutes, and then drying at 200-220 degrees C for 1.8-3 minutes, covering communication cable processed with insulating layer to form cable wire.
