NOVELTY - Rare earth lubricating oil comprises 1-2 wt.% nano graphene, 3-10 wt.% polymethyl methacrylate covered by yttrium oxide/lanthanum oxide nano particle, 5.7-10 wt.% borate, 2-3 wt.% surfactant, 8-10 wt.% friction modifier, 2-10 wt.% succinic acid dimethyl ester, 0.3-10 wt.% dimethyl glutarate, 45-65 wt.% base lubricating oil, where polymethyl methacrylate-coated yttrium oxide/lanthanum oxide nanoparticles have a particle size of 10-100 nm, yttrium oxide, where the mass ratio of lanthanum oxide is 1:2. USE - The rare earth lubricating oil is useful for internal combustion engine, and an engine (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The rare earth lubricating oil does not contain sulfur, phosphorus and other corrosive substances, can be widely used in industrial production, and is environmentally friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing rare earth lubricating oil comprising (i) placing 5.7-10 wt.% borate in reactor 1, adding the stirring edge 3-10 wt.% polymethyl methacrylate covered by yttrium oxide/lanthanum oxide nanometer particle, and 50-60 degrees C water bath stirring to the rare-earth compound is completely dissolving while stirring and adding 2-10% succinic acid dimethyl ester and 0.3-10% dimethyl glutaric acid, (ii) providing 70-85 wt.% base oil in reactor 2, stirring of adding the mass percentage is 1-2 wt.% nano graphene, 2-8 wt.% surfactant and 3-10 wt.% friction modifier, stirring uniformly, (iii) providing the mixture obtained in the reactor 1 into the reactor 2, ultrasonic stirring at 50-60 degrees C for 30 minutes.
