NOVELTY - Method for preparing magnetic graphene, involves (A) preparing graphene oxide by (A1) placing ice water in a reaction device, leaving still, and adding sulfuric acid, (A2) stirring, adding graphite, sodium nitrate and strong oxidant, and stirring to obtain a solid-liquid mixture, (A3) heating the mixture, stirring, adding deionized water, stirring, adding hydrogen peroxide, and filtering, (A4) washing the solution, and placing the filter cake in a vacuum drying oven to obtain graphene oxide, and (B) preparing a magnetic graphene material by (B1) dispersing graphene oxide into deionized water, adding aqueous ammonia, and stirring, (B2) adding magnetic material and crosslinking agent into deionized water, mixing with the solution, ultrasonically dispersing, and mixing the solution to a sol, (B3) placing the sol in a muffle furnace, heating, filtering, and washing with deionized water and absolute ethanol, and (B4) drying to obtain the target product. USE - The method is useful for preparing magnetic graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and does not generate toxic gas. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for preparing magnetic graphene, involves (A) preparing graphene oxide by (A1) placing 1000 pts. wt. ice water in a reaction device, leaving still for 5 minutes, and adding 30-50 pts. wt. analytically pure sulfuric acid, (A2) stirring the solution, sequentially adding 10-25 pts. wt. graphite, 5-10 pts. wt. sodium nitrate and 30-40 pts. wt. strong oxidant, and stirring to obtain a solid-liquid mixture, (A3) slowly heating the mixture at 25-65 degrees C, stirring for 30 minutes, adding 20 pts. wt. deionized water, stirring for 0.5-2 hours, adding 20-80 pts. wt. 30% hydrogen peroxide to reduce the residual oxidant, enabling the solution to be bright yellow, and filtering when the solution is hot, (A4) washing the solution using 5% hydrogen chloride solution and deionized water until no sulfate radical ions are detected in the filtrate, and placing the filter cake in a vacuum drying oven at 30-120 degrees C for 9-21 hours to obtain graphene oxide, and (B) preparing a magnetic graphene material by (B1) dispersing 60-80 pts. wt. graphene oxide into 100 pts. wt. deionized water, adding 10-20 pts. wt. of 25% aqueous ammonia, and stirring at 200 -800 rpm at 70-150 degrees C for 20-60 minutes, (B2) adding 5-20 pts. wt. magnetic material and 1-5 pts. wt. crosslinking agent into 100 pts. wt. deionized water, mixing with the solution obtained in the step (B1), ultrasonically dispersing, and mixing the solution to a sol, (B3) placing the sol in a muffle furnace, heating at 100-200 degrees C for 12-48 hours, filtering when the solution is hot, and sequentially washing with deionized water and absolute ethanol, and (B4) drying the obtained solid in a vacuum-drying oven at 50-150 degrees C for 6-18 hours to obtain the target product.
