NOVELTY - An aqueous liquid of sizing agent comprises a polyamide compound comprising a structural unit (A) derived from a tetracarboxylic acid or its derivatives, a structural unit (B) derived from diamine or its derivatives, and a nitrogen compound comprising at least one chosen from a tertiary amine compound and an aprotic nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound. The tetracarboxylic acid comprises pyromellitic acid, 3,3',4,4'-biphenyl tetracarboxylic acid or 1,2,4,5-cyclohexane tetracarboxylic acid. The aqueous liquid does not comprise a component containing reduction-oxidation graphene magnetic particles. The molar ratio of structural unit (A) to structural unit (B) is (1/1)-(1/2). The mass ratio of polyamide compound to nitrogen compound is (95/5)-(55/45). USE - Aqueous liquid of sizing agent used for manufacturing inorganic fiber e.g. carbon fiber strand (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The aqueous liquid has excellent heat resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of inorganic fiber.
