NOVELTY - High capacity magnesium-based composite hydrogen storage material (I) is new. (I) includes granular magnesium hydride as main phase, and nickel, aluminum and graphene phases uniformly distributed around the magnesium hydride particles. USE - The high-capacity magnesium-based composite hydrogen storage material is useful in mobile power supply device and hydrogen supply source of on-board hydrogen storage system. ADVANTAGE - The high-capacity magnesium-based composite hydrogen storage material: has uniform material size, hydrogen storage capacity as high as 5.85 wt.%, and better hydrogen absorption and desorption dynamic performance when compared to pure magnesium. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - High capacity magnesium-based composite hydrogen storage material of formula (MgxAl100-x-y(z wt%Ni/Gn)) (I) is new. (I) includes granular magnesium hydride as main phase, and nickel, aluminum and graphene phases uniformly distributed around the magnesium hydride particles. x = 70-99; y = 1-20; and z = 20-80. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing (I).
