▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - An additive comprises an ionic liquid comprising 1-chlorooctane and 1-methylimidazole, and vinyl graphene oxide, where the ionic liquid is polymerized with vinyl graphene oxide to form a nano-composite poly(1-octyl-3-methyl imidazolium chloride)-1% graphene oxide. USE - The additive is used for depressing the pour point of waxy crude oils during the transportation in the field of petroleum technology. ADVANTAGE - The additive improves the flowability of crude oil through the transportation pipeline and reduces the viscosities and improves other similar characteristics of crude oil. The nano composite additive significantly enables the crude oil to flow at very low temperatures. The ionic liquid has desired properties to maintain better dispersion of nanoparticles and enhanced polymerization, which helps to maintain the homogeneity of the product for longer times and avoids reduction in its efficiency due to particle segregation. The usage of small quantities of the additive on waxy crude oils can reduce pour point and improve flow properties, hence is economical and effective. The poly(ionic liquid)-graphene oxide is cost-effective, improves the economics and result of petroleum industry standards. The additive improves the crude oil characteristics during pipeline transportation in onshore oil field even during winter seasons where the temperature drops to lower level. The additive prevents wax deposition in pipeline caused during the transportation of crude oil.
