NOVELTY - A biodegradable polymer microsphere comprises 100 pts. wt. biodegradable polymer monomer, 20-100 pts. wt. water-soluble polymer additives, 0.5-1 pt. wt. antioxidant, and 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. catalyst. USE - Biodegradable polymer microsphere used as medicine control release carrier, gene carrier and polypeptide and protein medicine used in immunology, gene therapy, tumor treatment, ophthalmic and other medical applications, and used in three-dimensional (3D) printing, powder coating, ink additive, and cosmetic additive. ADVANTAGE - The biodegradable polymer microsphere is produced by simple and easy to control process without using organic solvent, and the production process is environmentally-friendly, and suitable for mass production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation method of biodegradable polymer microspheres, which involves dissolving water-soluble polymer additive in continuous phase in biodegradable polymer monomer, and adding antioxidants and catalysts to promote the polymerization of biodegradable polymer monomer, and during polymerization process, phase separating biodegradable polymer and water-soluble polymer additive.
