NOVELTY - A silicon/graphene composite cathode material is prepared by carrying out pyrolysis treatment on a precursor material. The precursor material comprises a cathode active material, a conductive agent and a binder. The cathode active material is silicon/graphene-doped host material. The binder is a nitrogen-containing polymer. USE - Silicon/graphene composite cathode material is useful for the production of a battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The silicon/graphene composite cathode material has stable structure, excellent mechanical stability, coulombic efficiency and capacity holding rate.
