NOVELTY - Photocatalyst comprising an active component I including alpha -type ferric oxide nanorod, an active component II including trimanganese tetroxide nanoparticles, and a transmission body including reduced graphene oxide, is new, where the photocatalyst comprises 85-98.5 mass% of active component I, 0.5-10 mass% of active component II and the balance of transmission body. USE - The photocatalyst is useful as an anode catalytic material in an electrochemical cell that is used for decomposing the water and for converting the solar energy into the chemical energy. ADVANTAGE - The photocatalyst has high catalytic activity and stability, and is prepared in a simple and eco-friendly manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparing a photocatalyst.
