NOVELTY - Graphite is mixed with sulfuric acid, nitric acid, perchloric acid, and other strong acids and strong oxidizing agents, and electrochemical peroxidation is carried out. Resultant mixture is hydrolyzed to obtain graphite oxide which is then filtered. Obtained product is then granulated to obtain columnar grains. Graphite oxide material is subjected to microwave dissociation under inert atmosphere, reduced and resultant suspension is filtered, and the solid is dried to obtain graphene powder. USE - Manufacture of graphene (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Device for the production of graphene includes a spiral feeder, furnace tube, microwave chamber, discharge tube and product collector. The furnace tube is connected to the microwave chamber. The input end of furnace tube is connected to the spiral feeder. The output end of the furnace tube is connected to product collector through discharge tube. The input end of furnace tube is provided with an inert gas inlet and air inlet. Graphite is mixed with sulfuric acid, nitric acid, perchloric acid, and other strong acids and strong oxidizing agents, and electrochemical peroxidation is carried out. The resultant mixture is hydrolyzed to obtain graphite oxide which is then filtered. Obtained product is then granulated to obtain columnar grains having diameter of 0.1-1 cm and length of 1-5 cm. Graphite oxide single feeding amount is 100-2000 g, preferably 200-800 g. Graphite oxide material is added to furnace tube from screw feeder. Inert gas inlet is opened and air in the furnace tube is replaced. Graphite oxide is subjected to microwave dissociation under inert atmosphere. The resultant material is reduced by the flow of compressed air, and reduced product is added to product collector. Water stored in the device is completely absorbed. The resultant suspension is filtered, and the solid is dried to obtain graphene powder.
