NOVELTY - Preparing metronidazole modified graphene oxide composite material involves preparing graphene oxide and is mixed with concentrated sulfuric acid, and then is placed in ultrasonic dispersion for 20 minutes. The obtained mixture is soaked and is stirred into ice-water bath for 30 minutes. The process is followed by addition of sodium nitrate for 30 minutes, before adding potassium permanganate reaction for 2 hours. The reaction is transferred to 39 degrees C in an oil bath and then reaction is stirred for 2.5 hours. USE - Method for preparing metronidazole modified graphene oxide composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare metronidazole modified graphene oxide composite material is low in mild condition, excellent performance of coating and reduce the pollute to environment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing metronidazole modified graphene oxide composite material involves preparing graphene oxide and is mixed with concentrated sulfuric acid, and then is placed in ultrasonic dispersion for 20 minutes. The obtained mixture is soaked and is stirred into ice-water bath for 30 minutes. The process is followed by addition of sodium nitrate for 30 minutes, before adding potassium permanganate reaction for 2 hours. The reaction is transferred to 39 degrees C in an oil bath and then reaction is stirred for 2.5 hours. The distilled water is added, and then reaction temperature is raised to 95 degrees C for 1.5 hours. The 10% hydrogen peroxide is added and then is washed with 0.5mol/L hydrochloric acid. The obtained product is centrifuged, and then is drying, and crushing to obtain graphene oxide powder. The preparing maleic anhydride graphene oxide for maleic anhydride and is placed in oil heating bath at 75 degrees C. The obtained product is stirred to dissolve, and then graphene oxide is added to dissolve maleic anhydride for 3 hours. The distilled water is added and then temperature is raised to 86 degrees C for 16 hours. After filtration, obtained product is washed, dried and crushed to obtain a maleic anhydride-modified graphene oxide. The preparing metronidazole modified graphene oxide for maleic anhydride-modified composite graphene oxide and is dispersed in dimethylformamide and then metronidazole, dicyclohexyl carbodiimide and 4-dimethylaminopyridine is added under nitrogen at 80 degrees C to obtain final powder. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing metronidazole modified graphene oxide composite material, which involves using concentrated sulfuric acid and is mixed with graphene oxide in weight ratio of 1:50-60, graphene oxide with sodium nitrate in weight ratio of 1:1.2-1.5, graphene oxide with potassium permanganate in weight ratio of 1:4-8 and graphene oxide with hydrogen peroxide in weight ratio of 1:50-60.
