▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Nanocomposite membrane comprises a film comprising (i) a polymer matrix and (ii) nanoparticles placed within the polymer matrix, with the film being substantially water-permeable but substantially impurity-impermeable. USE - The membrane is used in nanofiltration and reverse osmosis including desalination of seawater, water treatment and wastewater reclamation. ADVANTAGE - The membrane is substantially permeable to water and impermeable to impurities for e.g. sodium ions, and has increased fouling resistance, anti-microbial (biocidal) activity, water permeability and salt rejection. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a process, involving electrospinning in the presence of graphene oxide.
