NOVELTY - Modified graphene is claimed. The modified graphene is graphene having a modifying group, and modifying group contains group provided by terminal amino polyether. USE - The modified graphene is useful for preparing polyurethane foam and in sealing of floating roof crude oil storage tanks (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The modified graphene: has high pressure bearing performance, and improved electrical conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing modified graphene comprising subjecting dispersion containing terminal amino polyether and graphene oxide to reduction reaction; (2) preparing polyurethane foam comprising (i) preparing dispersion containing modified graphene and polymer matrix and then removing the solvent to obtain mixture A, (ii) mixing catalyst, chain extender, blowing agent and mixture A to obtain mixture B, and (iii) curing and foaming mixture B and isocyanate monomer; and (3) polyurethane foam material obtained by above method.
