NOVELTY - Composite material includes a mixture of magnetic wave absorbing powder, polymer matrix and carbon-based fiber or metal fiber. The composite material is a fiber-oriented composite material. USE - Composite material is useful for electromagnetic wave shielding material or device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has low overlapping impedance, and radiating and electromagnetic shielding function. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a preparation method of the composite material, which involves mixing the magnetic absorbing powder with the polymer matrix to obtain the magnetic powder-based filler with fluidity; mixing carbon-based fibers or metal fibers with the magnetic powder-based filler to obtain a fiber-based viscous substance; and extruding the viscous material in an extruder to obtain a fiber-oriented bulk composite material, where slicing the block composite material perpendicular to the extrusion direction to obtain a film composite material; and (2) a method to shield articles from electromagnetic radiation, absorb electromagnetic radiation received by articles, prevent articles from receiving electromagnetic radiation or protect articles from electromagnetic radiation, involves applying the composite material to the article.
