NOVELTY - Preparing mixed chopped fiber enhanced polyethersulfone composite material comprises (i) oxidizing natural graphite and ultrasonic-stripping to obtain an aqueous solution of graphene oxide; (ii) mixing chopped glass fibers with carbon fibers, cleaning and drying to obtain the dried chopped fiber; (iii) adding the aqueous solution of graphene oxide into the dry chopped fiber, stirring and dispersing in graphene oxide solution; (iv) drying the fiber aqueous solution to remove moisture; and (v) mixing the processed chopped fiber with polyethersulfone particles, extruding and injection molding. USE - The method is useful for preparing mixed chopped fiber enhanced polyethersulfone composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has high adhesive strength and mechanical property. The method utilizes simple equipment, has convenient operation, reduces energy consumption, and is economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing mixed chopped fiber enhanced polyethersulfone composite material comprises (i) oxidizing natural graphite with an oxidizing agent to obtain oxidized graphite, forming oxidized graphite aqueous solution and ultrasonic-stripping to obtain an aqueous solution of graphene oxide; (ii) mixing chopped glass fibers with carbon fibers, cleaning using deionized or distilled water, removing impurities on the surface of the chopped fiber, and drying to obtain the dried chopped fiber; (iii) adding the aqueous solution of graphene oxide into the dry chopped fiber, stirring and dispersing in graphene oxide solution; (iv) drying the fiber aqueous solution to remove moisture; and (v) mixing the processed chopped fiber with polyethersulfone particles, extruding and injection molding.
