NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene involves mixing release agent with water to obtain 0.2-50 wt.% release agent solution, adding expanded graphite to the obtained release agent solution in mass ratio of 0.1-10:100, stirring for 1-10 hours, dispersing expanded graphite in the release agent solution, filtering the resultant solution, washing and drying. USE - Preparation of graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method economically provides graphene, by a simple process under mild reaction condition.
