NOVELTY - Anode material comprises a nanocomposite in which manganese phosphide (MnP4) or a substituted solid solution compound of MnP4 is implemented as a composite with a carbon-based material. USE - The anode material is useful for sodium secondary batteries. ADVANTAGE - The material has high energy density, excellent capacity characteristics, high reversible capacity, low reaction potential characteristics, and fast charge-discharge characteristics.
