NOVELTY - Preparation of copper iodide-graphene oxide nanocomposite, involves dissolving elemental iodine in mixed solvent of ethanol and water to obtain iodine solution, dissolving copper sulfate in mixed solvent of acetone and water to obtain copper sulfate solution, adding graphene oxide nanosheet to copper sulfate solution, mixing iodine solution and copper sulfate nano graphene oxide dispersion liquid to obtain a mixed solution, separating the products by centrifugation, washing with distilled water, and vacuum drying to obtain copper iodide-graphene oxide nanocomposite. USE - Preparation of copper iodide-graphene oxide nanocomposite (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The preparation process is featured with simple preparation process, low reaction temperature, high efficiency, improved energy-saving effect, improved environmental protection function and high safety. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of copper iodide-graphene oxide nanocomposite, involves dissolving elemental iodine in a mixed solvent of ethanol and water to obtain iodine solution having a concentration of 0.075-0.30 mol.L-1, dissolving copper sulfate in a mixed solvent of acetone and water to obtain copper sulfate solution having a concentration of 0.050-0.20 mol.L-1, adding 0.1 g graphene oxide nanosheet per 100 mL copper sulfate solution, adding graphene oxide nanosheet to the copper sulfate solution, fully stirring and dispersing ultrasonically for 5 minutes to obtain a copper sulfate nano graphene oxide dispersion liquid, mixing iodine solution and copper sulfate nano graphene oxide dispersion liquid of equal volume to obtain a mixed solution, transferring the mixed solution into a closed container, continuously stirring at room temperature for 24 hours, separating the products by centrifugation, washing with distilled water, and vacuum drying to obtain copper iodide-graphene oxide nanocomposite. The mass ratio of mixed solution of copper sulfate and elemental iodine is 2:3.
