NOVELTY - Preparing nano metal toughened silicon carbide ceramic material, comprises (i) dissolving polycarbosilane powder and platinum catalyst in an organic solvent, adding a silane coupling agent into a graphene oxide dispersion, mixing and reacting at constant temperature, and rotary evaporating and drying to obtain polymer precursor poly(N-vinylguanidine) (PVG) powder, (ii) evolving polymer precursor PVG powder at high temperature to obtain a black-gold ceramic filler silicon carbide-reduced graphene oxide (SiC/rGO) filler powder, (iii) mixing polymer precursor PVG powder, high-temperature solder nano-metal powder and ceramic filler SiC(rGO)filler powder by ball milling to obtain uniform mixture of PVG/M/SiC(rGO)filler, (iv) drying and grinding homogeneous mixture, pouring into mold for compression molding to obtain PVG/M/SiC (rGO) filler green body, and (v) placing blank into tube furnace for high-temperature microscopic welding, maintaining an inert atmosphere in the furnace and cooling. USE - The method is useful for preparing nano metal toughened silicon carbide ceramic material.
