NOVELTY - Preparation method of partially hydroxylated graphene involves (a) mixing 98% concentrated sulfuric acid and 30% hydrogen peroxide in an ice water bath, uniformly stirring and cooling to room temperature to obtain reaction solution, (b) transferring the reaction liquid to a ball milling tank, adding graphite nanosheets to the ball milling tank and ball milling for 1-10 hours to obtain reaction product, and (c) diluting the reaction product with deionized water, neutralizing, filtering, washing, dialyzing and drying to obtain partially hydroxylated graphene. USE - Method is useful for preparing partially hydroxylated graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method ensures preparation of partially hydroxylated graphene in a simple manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for partially hydroxylated graphene prepared by the above method.
