NOVELTY - The device has a phase change material layer (1) provided with multiple VO2 umbrella-shaped patches that are arranged in a periodic array. Each of the oxygen-vapor-shaped patch is provided with a regular octagon structure composed of 8 isosceles triangles. A gap is formed between adjacent isosseles triangles, where the adjacent oxygen-voltage umbrella patches are not connected with each other. The phase change materials layer comprises a first medium layer and a second medium layer. USE - Terahertz ultra-wideband adjustable wave absorber for use in communication, sensing and imaging fields. ADVANTAGE - The terahertz ultra-wideband adjustable wave absorber has wide absorption bandwidth and good absorption performance. The wave absorbing device exhibits different working state, and has function variety of characteristics.
