▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Preparing multi-edge graphene comprises (i) removing oxide layer on the surface of nickel particles and connecting nickel particles with each other, (ii) growing graphene on the sheet surface of the nickel particles to obtain a nickel mesh structure covering the graphene, (iii) covering a layer of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) on the surface of the graphene-covered nickel mesh structure to obtain PMMA/ graphene/nickel mesh structure, (iv) using acid to remove metallic nickel to obtain PMMA/ graphene structure samples and (v) removing PMMA to obtain the product. USE - The method is useful in preparing multi-edge grapheme. ADVANTAGE - The multi-edge graphene: has improved energy density, excellent mechanical strength and excellent electrical conductivity; is an excellent cathode material for rechargeable aluminum ion batteries. The method: achieves low energy consumption; is economical which is beneficial for large-scale mass production. The aluminum ion batteries has wide operating temperature range and high coulombic efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for an aluminum ion battery comprising using multi-edge graphene as cathode, aluminum foil as anode, glass fiber membrane as separator and preparing electrolyte using 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazole chloride solvent and aluminum chloride salt.
