NOVELTY - A method for constructing a lithium fluoride protection layer on a three-dimensional lithium-carbon composite material, involves mixing graphene, fluorine-containing organic binder solution and lithium metal powder to obtain lithium metal/graphene composite material slurry, coating the lithium metal/graphene composite material slurry on a current collector to obtain an electrode, thermally lithiating the electrode, and combining to obtain a final product. USE - Method for constructing lithium fluoride protection layer on three-dimensional lithium-carbon composite material for battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method synthesizes the lithium metal powder/graphene three-dimensional composite cathode material with lithium fluoride protection through a one-step method of homogenization, coating, heating and compounding, does not need to resort to complicated equipment, and has a simple and time-saving preparation process. The decomposition product hydrogen is capable of self catalyzing the reaction process, the composite process is fast and once the reaction is started. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a battery comprising a lithium fluoride protection layer.
