NOVELTY - Production of porous graphene oxide involves synthesizing graphite oxide powder from the graphite powder using a modified Hummers method, and heat-treating the graphite oxide powder at a temperature of 200-800 degrees C. USE - Production of porous graphene oxide (claimed) used for storing hydrogen, as adsorbent for absorbing harmful or specific gases and in capacitors and batteries.
