NOVELTY - Waterborne epoxy graphene intermediate paint comprises component (A) and component (B). The components (A) comprise deionized water, water-based epoxy resin, pigments, fillers and additives. The pigments are graphene, mica iron oxide and glass flakes, and the fillers are talcum powder and precipitated barium sulfate. The component A comprises 18-20 parts mass deionized water, 0.5-1 parts mass dispersant, 5-10 parts mass talcum powder, 15-20 parts mass precipitated barium sulfate, 0-1 part mass graphene, 12-20 parts mass mica iron oxide, 5-15 parts mass glass flakes, 7.5-22.5 parts mass water-based epoxy resin 7520, 7.5-22.5 parts mass water-based epoxy resin 6529 (epoxy equivalent: 540g/mol, solid content: 57%), 0.5-1 part mass silane coupling agent, 3-6 parts mass polyethylene glycol 1000. The component (B) comprises 8-11 parts mass water-based epoxy curing agent 3951 (active hydrogen equivalent: 306 g/mol, solid content: 78%). USE - The waterborne epoxy graphene intermediate paint has excellent physical and mechanical properties such as adhesion, wet adhesion, flexibility, and impact resistance. The paint film has strong water resistance and corrosion resistance, is simple in preparation process, has low energy consumption, is environmentally-friendly and safe, and realizes industrial production. ADVANTAGE - The aqueous epoxy graphene intermediate paint has excellent water resistance and corrosion resistance. The paint film has strong adhesive force and strong impact resistance, good flexibility, strong shielding corrosion medium capability, anti-corrosion effect, simple preparation technique, low energy consumption, environment-friendly and safe, suitable for corrosion engineering equipment in ocean and other severe environment, and can realize industrial production. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the waterborne epoxy graphene intermediate paint comprising (a) adding deionized water and graphene into a stainless steel container for ultrasonic dispersion for 5-10 minutes, adding dispersant, silane coupling agent and polyethylene glycol 1000 into it and stirring to obtain graphene slurry, (b) adding talcum powder, precipitated barium sulfate, mica iron oxide and glass flakes into the stainless steel container, stir with a high-speed shear emulsifier at a speed of 550-1000 rpm for 8-15 minutes, (c) adding water-based epoxy resin into the stainless steel container, stirring with a high-speed disperser at 500-600 rpm for 10-12 minutes, to obtain component (A), (d) adding component B, namely the water-based epoxy curing agent, to component (A) and stirring with a high-speed disperser at a stirring speed of 450-500 rpm for 5-8 minutes to obtain the product.
